Happy Sunday Y'all!!!!!!

Hi There,
Carla chimming in!!!!! I am a traveling today. Going to Denver for 4 days. Surgeon appnt, Neurologist appnt!!!!! Going to visit my sick friend.... And best of all having a Hen Fest with all my best buddies in the world!!!!!! From when I lived there of course.
The highlight of my trip will be to meet Joan McDounagh. She moved there from South Carolina!!!!!

Happy and safe travels, Carla.  Wish I had your ability to pick up and go so often. 

I am asking for prayers for myself ......I just don't feel well.  In addition to the osteoarthritis and carpal tunnel, now my right knee and hip are hurting.  I am worried something is wrong with my whole right leg....gonna go see the orthopedic doc hopefully this week.  The right knee replacement is 13 yrs old, but the hip is brand new.

I appreciate the love and support from all my friends here and wish you the very best.

I would imagine if your knee is bad it is effecting your hip as well. I am glad you are seeing your doctor. Please let us know when you have more information.

Golly, Pat, I sure hope you find out what's wrong. It's bad enough to have your hands hurting, but adding in the leg/hip must be miserable and frustrating. You know you can always count on this bunch for love and support!

No Charger game today, so we're going to a movie. Not sure which one, but it will be nice to get out. It's going to be so beautiful I kind of hate to spend part of it indoors, but Gary's been wanting to hit a movie for a couple of weeks now, so off we'll go.

The campaign to get back on the right track with my eating is paying off. I've lost 3 lbs this week by just not snacking and grazing my day (and pant size) away. Amazing how the tool works when you use it properly!

Okay, off to get the old bod moving and grooving. Hope all of you have wonderful days!

Have you been checked for fibromyalgia? Just a thought ... I know a lot of doctors don't believe in it. Take care of yourself. Here's a gentle hug.

Today the highlight will be the Vikings/Bears game. I plan on staying home to watch it today. A friend is coming over to join me. Just haven't been into crowds lately. Which is very unusual for me!! I am usually in the middle of everything.

Good morning everyone

Yesterday I saw Morning Glory.  I laughed out loud for the first time in a long time.  Harrison Ford had a part that was often non verbal and he was a genius at portraying his feelings in his facial expressions.  If you have been thinking about seeing this movie it is so worth it.  Great cast and lots of laughs.

I am nearly out the door to church and then I will be going to a benefit concert of local talent.  There are a lot of extremey talented singers and instramentalist here in Kingwood from professional to semi-pro.  Then I'll try to find the Saints game if they are playing.

Good Sunday morning from Newport Vermont!
LONG travel day on Thursday. we left Swanton Oh at 6am and arrived in Newport Vt at 10:30 PM!  What a brutal drive. Will definately never do this again! when I move it will be divided up! 
Been looking at houses for rent.  I would prefer not to rent a an apartment.  Found 1 house  I really like.  I am going to apply for it, but the electric bill this past year was horrendous. (electric baseboard heat) However the lady that owns the house was very ill and had 24 hr per day caretakers. I think my bills would not be that bad at all.  The lease will be fore 6 months only but if they decide to sell and I like it and can afford the heat, may be able to buy it. There are a lot of cosmetic things I could do to it, but it has good bones. 
Tomorrow I get my physical and screening work done, then we are heading home, taking 2 days to travel for sure! 
Dad just went to church down the road and I am going to go drive around and explore the town.
